DfE Teaching Vacancies Board posting

Publish your job advert in the usual way from within your Teacher Booker account.

Once it is published, go to the ATS Job Advert list view.

You will see a separate "Post to DfE Board" button next to your published job advert.

Click this button. A popup will appear guiding you through the submission process. Most fields will be prefilled based on your existing job advert, but you’ll be able to review and edit them before submission

​Note: To successfully post to the DfE Teaching Vacancies board, you must enter a valid URN (Unique Reference Number) for the school the job is being posted for. This is a required field to post to DfE Teaching Vacancies board and ensures the job is correctly linked to your school’s listing on the DfE Teaching Vacancies site.

If your school’s URN is missing, you can add it by editing the School Profile page.

You will be prompted to enter any additional required information.

Once your job advert posted successfully you can view it on DfE Teaching vacancies site by click on the button.

Go to ATS Job Advert list view.

You will see a separate "View DfE advert" button next to your published job advert.

Click this button. A popup will appear with preview of your job advert, "Edit Advert" and "Delete" buttons.

To edit job advert on DfE Teaching Vacancies board click "Edit Advert" button. A popup will appear with all fields available to edit of your job advert. To submit changes you need to click on "Update advert" button on the bottom of the window.

To delete job advert on DfE Teaching Vacancies board click "Delete" button. Confirm deletion in appeared pop up window.
​Note: This action cannot be undone.

DfE Teaching Vacancies board posting is enabled by default for all schools and trusts using Teacher Booker. If you have any questions or encounter issues when publishing, editing or deleting please contact your Organisation Administrator or reach out to Teacher Booker Support.
