For supply work, teachers set their minimum pay, year group and subject preferences on their profile, as well as their maximum preferred commute time. 

Teachers and support staff should ensure that their subject and year group preferences are set accurately and that their postcode is formatted correctly. Our algorithm uses this information to match teachers and schools. If any of the above is missing, a candidate's profile may not be displayed to a school.

When a school posts a job, suitable local teachers with matching preferences appear as available. The school has the option to preview these candidates and select who it would like to invite for the job. The selected teachers are then notified by email and text message.
