If your Organisation has multiple Shift Types the option to choose different shift types will be available to you. The multiple types of shifts are permission based and will be set up by your account manager on configuration or any time afterwards.

Shift types, explained:
Standard - a normal shift with no parameters
Sleep in - Defined as a shift that has a flat fee with no waking hours. In the system it has a unique code, assigned at the time Shift Type is created, that can be identified in reports by your payroll team for payment purposes. You can have many ‘Sleep in’ options with different names.
On call - Defined as a shift that has a fee plus waking hours that can be added to the timesheet by either the worker or the manager. In the system it has a unique code that can be identified in reports by your payroll team. The waking hours are editable and visible on the timesheet and reports. You can have many ‘On call’ options with different names.

Shift type - Creating a shift
After the shift types have been set up by your account manager they will be visible when creating a shift.
Simply select “Create a new shift” and fill in the required information
When you get to “Shift type” select your preferred option from the drop down
Continue creating your shift as needed

After shift has been booked you can change shift type of the day from shift detail page
Click on Edit button
